Stackmatch is a newly launched developer discovery service operated by David Dias Digital. Features, rankings, matching logic, and availability may change as the product improves.

By accessing Stackmatch, signing in with GitHub, claiming a profile, scanning public repositories, installing the Stackmatch GitHub App, or using any Stackmatch feature, you agree to these terms.

Launch Notice

Stackmatch launched on May 31, 2026. We may add, remove, pause, rename, or change features, ranking logic, stack matching signals, account controls, and availability as the product improves.

Stackmatch may contain incomplete data, delayed scans, temporary outages, or ranking logic that changes over time. Do not rely on Stackmatch as the only source for hiring, procurement, compliance, security, or business-critical decisions.

Accounts and GitHub Sign-In

Stackmatch uses GitHub OAuth to identify accounts and claim Stackmatch profiles. You are responsible for keeping your GitHub account secure and for any activity connected to your Stackmatch account.

You may not impersonate another person or organization, claim a profile you are not authorized to control, bypass account protections, or use automation in a way that disrupts Stackmatch or GitHub.

Acceptable Use

Use Stackmatch lawfully and respectfully. Do not abuse scanning, messaging, social actions, rate limits, or any public API route.

You may not:

  • interfere with Stackmatch infrastructure, abuse automation, scrape at unreasonable volume, or try to bypass rate limits;
  • probe, exploit, or disclose vulnerabilities except through responsible disclosure;
  • upload, send, or link content that is illegal, abusive, deceptive, infringing, or harmful;
  • use Stackmatch to spam, harass, profile, or target people in a way that violates applicable law or platform rules;
  • resell, mirror, or redistribute Stackmatch service data as a competing service without permission.

GitHub Data

Stackmatch uses GitHub data to build public package-stack fingerprints. You are responsible for complying with GitHub's terms when connecting your account.

Public repository scans use public GitHub metadata and public package.json manifests. Optional private repository analysis requires installing the Stackmatch GitHub App and granting repository access through GitHub.

You are responsible for confirming that any GitHub account, organization, repository, or private repository access you connect to Stackmatch is authorized by the relevant owners and policies.

User Content and Social Features

Stackmatch may include profiles, stars, follows, matches, notifications, messages, feedback surfaces, and similar product features. You are responsible for the content and interactions you create.

We may remove content, restrict access, hide profiles from discovery, disable features, or suspend accounts when we believe activity violates these terms, creates risk for other users, or harms the service.

Open Source

The Stackmatch source code is MIT licensed. The hosted Stackmatch service, product data, abuse-prevention systems, and user accounts remain governed by these terms and the privacy notice.

Contributions to the public source repository are governed by the repository license and contribution rules. Access to the hosted service does not grant rights to private infrastructure, production data, abuse-prevention systems, accounts, or non-public operational details.

Third-Party Services

Stackmatch depends on third-party services such as GitHub and hosting, analytics, security, and infrastructure providers. Those services have their own terms and policies.

Stackmatch is not responsible for third-party service availability, account decisions, API changes, rate limits, outages, or data made available by those services.

Sponsor and Ecosystem Surfaces

Stackmatch may provide sponsor pages, package pages, ecosystem reports, verified organization features, or aggregate insights. Sponsor and ecosystem surfaces should not be treated as endorsements, guarantees, rankings for procurement, or professional advice.

Private repository analysis remains separate from sponsor reporting unless a user explicitly chooses to make private-derived aggregate data public.

Privacy

The Privacy Policy explains how Stackmatch handles GitHub identity, public repository scans, optional private repository analysis, profile visibility, messages, notifications, analytics, and abuse-prevention data.

Availability and Changes

Stackmatch is provided as-is as a newly launched service. Data may be incomplete, delayed, or change while the product is improved.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of Stackmatch at any time. We may update these terms when the product, data model, legal requirements, or operating model changes. Continued use after updates means you accept the updated terms.

Disclaimers

Stackmatch is provided without warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. Stack fingerprints, rankings, matches, package counts, and ecosystem insights are informational and may be incomplete or wrong.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Stackmatch and David Dias Digital are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service.
